Sam Hehn is the Director of People at Bestow, responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies for compensation & benefits, recruiting, performance management, learning & development and people operations.
Sam is passionate about solving people and operational challenges through Human Resource optimization in hypergrowth environments. She is skilled in scaling benefit programs, integrating merger & acquisitions, implementing HRIS systems, streamlining payroll processes, and improving cross-functional workflows for young and maturing organizations.
Prior to Bestow, Sam served as the HR leader for Sparkcognition Government Systems, where she was responsible for strategizing, developing, and implementing all talent, culture, employee engagement, government compliance, and organizational development initiatives including leadership of the HRBP function.
Sam received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and has held her SHRM-CP since 2016. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and two sons.
