Director of Product Design, Bestow
Shannon Ray is Director of Product Design at Bestow, where she leads the design organization responsible for transforming life insurance for consumers, agents, and carriers.
Shannon has become an expert in digital life insurance experiences. She brings a deep understanding of the industry’s regulatory environment, distribution models, underwriting requirements, and carrier operations. Her product design expertise spans the complete insurance lifecycle, from initial quote and application to policy administration and beyond.
Prior to Bestow, Shannon cut her teeth at both startups and high-growth technology companies, where she learned the importance of building quickly and iteratively, while balancing the quality required for global enterprise clients and millions of end users.
Shannon is an active design mentor and supporter of local Dallas tech equity organizations. She earned a design degree from Auburn University and currently resides in east Dallas with her husband, daughter, and Australian Shepherd.
