At Bestow, we use data to modernize the life insurance application process
Data is the engine behind all of your favorite technology. It provides the perfect playlist mash-up, recommends coupons for your top items, and even connects you with that childhood friend you haven’t seen in a long time. Data enables a personalized and engaging customer experience.
How we use your personal data
We use personal data to make it faster to apply for a life insurance policy
Typical life insurance companies require forms, medical exams, and lots of your time. Bestow enables you to quickly apply for life insurance without a medical exam--all by relying on your personal data. With a few personal details we can quickly provide a life insurance premium estimate. When you apply for a policy, we ask for other information like your medical and financial history to determine your eligibility for a policy.
We use personal data to protect you and your beneficiaries
To prevent fraud, we ask for information that helps us verify your identity. This includes your name, social security number, drivers license or state identification number, financial information, and employment information. We also ask for information to help us verify your beneficiaries if you pass away.
We use personal data to manage your policy
Details like your mailing address, phone number, billing address, and email address make it easy to update your policy, make payments, receive policy updates, and perform other customer services.
We use personal data to improve your customer experience
We may collect and use your personal data if you choose to submit feedback to help us evaluate and improve your customer experience. Participation is completely voluntary and may require personal data like your name, address, and zip code. For example, with your consent, we may post your reviews on our website along with your name.
We may use your personal data for marketing and promotional purposes. For example, we may use your information, such as your email address, to send you newsletters, special offers, surveys, promotions, or other information we think may interest you.
We may also use personal data to improve our products and services and for other internal business purposes, including detecting security incidents, research and analytics, improving site functionality, performing services on your behalf or that you request, and fulfilling transactions.

Opting out from one or more companies listed on the DAA Consumer Choice Page (optout.aboutads.info) will opt you out from those companies’ delivery of interest-based content or ads to you, but it does not mean you will no longer receive any advertising through our site or on other websites. You may continue to receive advertisements, for example, based on the particular website that you are viewing (i.e., contextually based ads). Also, if your browsers are configured to reject cookies when you opt out on the DAA site, your opt out may not be effective. Additional information is available on the DAA’s website at www.digitaladvertisingalliance.org.
You can opt out of receiving calls from automatic telephone dialing systems or prerecorded messages at any time. The Do Not Call Registry accepts registrations from both cell phones and landlines.
